Dream. Believe. Be.

Hello, superstars!

So today, I wanted to try something new by providing a little bit of advice on never losing sight of your dreams. Since it is the semi-beginning of a new year, people are all about setting goals and achieving them, so I thought this would be a good idea, so HERE WE GO!

Take a moment and think about a your life dream. It can be anything from how many kids you want, to where you want to live or what your dream job would be.

Now, that you’ve done that, I want you to pick one aspect of your dream life that you have the most control of achieving. For instance, in the aforementioned step, the type of job you could have would definitely be the one most people would have the most control over.

After doing that I want you to think about what steps would be necessary for you to get to where you want to be, and write them all down.

Once you have all of those listed, decide which of these steps are most important as well as tangible and rewrite them from most to least important.

Congratulations! You have a plan! Now, it’s time to execute it!

Put this list somewhere that you will see it every day: the front of you planner, on your mirror, in your car etc. But make sure that all of the steps are always visible. Every time you accomplish one of the steps mark it off of the list bright and visibly so that you can take note of your own progress.

Repeat until you finally reach your goal.

Now. I know this is so much easier said than done, and trust me: I get that. There will be days you forget to look at the list. There will be days that the list will only remind you that you failed to actually do anything productive. But if you give every day your all and dedicate yourself to achieving your goals, you will see progress. And essentially, you will see your dreams come true right before your eyes.

This is something that I have been doing over the past few months and the moment I began to take control of my own life, it changed everything. I hope this helps some of you out there.

“Dreams don’t work unless you do.”

stay true,
